Team Snook Nook led by Captain Justin Rieger with anglers Fred Caimotto and Alec Baker fished the 23′ Snook Nook Charters Parker Big Bay over the weekend in the 2026 One More Bite Sailfish Challenge. The One More Bite Sailfish Challenge has two divisions, the small boat division which were boats 26′ and under and the big boat division for boats 27′ and up. The crew managed to take home first place for their division catching 7/9 of their Sailfish bites. 2/4 on day one and 5/5 on day two. A few Mahis along with plenty of Kingfish and Bonita bites kept them busy through the two days of fishing. The grass offshore made things a bit more difficult, but persistence paid off in the end! A total of 26 boats fished the tournament and there were 88 Sailfish releases amongst all boats. 8 Sailfish releases took the win for the big boat division so Team Snook Nook’s 7 releases would have tied for 2nd place overall amongst all boats.
